The increasing complexity of systems and the pressure to deliver them to market faster is driving the need for better engineering processes and approaches to product development. MBDC2005, The MathWorks Model-Based Design Conference explored the role of Model- Based Design in meeting today's engineering challenges and consider advantages over traditional, document-based design methods.
This two-day event comprised keynote speeches and presentations by senior industry representatives showing real-world examples of the successful adoption of Model-Based Design within industry-leading companies. User presentations demonstrated benefits gained by engineers using executable models of their system and environment throughout the entire development cycle — from requirements capture, through conceptual and detailed design, to implementation and verification.
Conference Highlights:
- A vision of future product development and direction from The MathWorks
- Technical Masterclasses, demonstrating features and applications of Model-Based Design
- A Demonstration Lab providing the opportunity to try out what you have seen
- Access to our senior technical consultants who can advise on your specific requirements
- An Exhibition including The MathWorks partner organisations
