Dear all, From a SEM picture of nanoparticles, I have to digitalize it, then changing the color of the particles by clicking on them and make the FFT. As far as now, I can digitalize and make the FFT, but I have not found how to change the color of the particle by clicking on them. I have used the edge function to detect the edges of the particles to try to do like in paint with the Fill with color function but now I am stuck. Do anyone have an idea how I could proceed ? The only function I have found in Matlab is ginput but it seems only to take data from the figure and not apply changes to them.

Why don't you simply use the magic wand tool in Photoshop and change the hue of the selected pixels? That would be faster and more flexible than using MATLAB, though I do have a magic wand demo that works in MATLAB.
