Toni	Just a quick question please! So the pixel value from the moving image is transformed into the deformed moving one and the new position is e.g. x + Tx(x) , y + Ty(y), right? Does this mean that the old image is just updated with these values? what happens to the old pixel values where the pixel was transformed from and is the 'transformed to' pixel value the new value + the old one which was there already? And where does the interpolation take place? Too much confusion....	Comment only

I used all the default options. Here is a summary of the output: Start Affine part of Non-Rigid registration ... Optimizer Results Algorithm Used: limited memory BFGS (L-BFGS) Exit message : Change in the objective function value was less than the specified tolerance TolFun. ... (repeat twice) Start non-rigid b-spline grid registration Current Grid size : 7x7 ... Optimizer Results Algorithm Used: limited memory BFGS (L-BFGS) Exit message : Change in the objective function value was less than the specified tolerance TolFun. ... Registration Refinement Current Grid size : 11x11 ... Optimizer Results Algorithm Used: limited memory BFGS (L-BFGS) Exit message : Line search cannot find an acceptable point along the current search ... Registration Refinement Current Grid size : 19x19 ... Optimizer Results Algorithm Used: limited memory BFGS (L-BFGS) Exit message : Line search cannot find an acceptable point along the current search Then the program quits without doing any registration, as far as I can tell.
